My first mugi was so much fun that I had to build another one. This time I changed a few things:
- Slightly smaller. Makes it more portable.
- Semi-Transparent Correx. Makes night-flying a possibility.
- Exposed pushrods. There's just not enough space in the thickness of the wing to bury them.
Carry Case
Another thing I did this time was to make a carry case for transportation (see my first Mugi for the
reason this is VERY necessary).
It's just hardboard top and bottom and pine strip for the sides with hinges on the back. The mugi fits the box down to the milimetre,
which means I was a little too short on some dimensions, but I just got away with it. I can now strap the mugi to the back of my
bike without killing it.
