Tini Links

The Tini is a cool little computer that sits on a SIM and runs a JVM. It's very useful for interfacing into other hardware. I rekon at least 50% of Tini users are people (like me) who are software people and have always been put off doing any hardware because it all looks confusing and hard to write code for. The Tini lets you do a lot of hardware interfacing in Java, which isn't nearly as confusing or hard to write.

• 1-Wire LCD Controller Fantastic idea, this. Having an easy way to output text to an LCD is a must for a lot of projects and this makes it very easy.

• Systronix US based shop, with some very neat Tini boards and also some Java IrDa code
• MP3Elf streams MP3's from a server elsewhere and spits out audio. I use mine as a network attached HiFi seperate.
